We’re hiring a Community Content Creator to help us create new ways to communicate with our fans, to help us reach new audiences, and to maintain our existing community relations.

Our flagship apps - Zombies, Run! and The Walk – combine innovative real-world interaction and gameplay with captivating audio stories and design. In short, we make exercising fun with audio.

We’re looking for a creative, passionate, highly-organised, self-starting individual who’s ready to take the next step. You will have a wide remit to create playful, exciting content across multiple media to help us share our love for our stories with our community. You will also be responsible for day-to-day conversations with our community across all social media.

You’ll be working across all our existing and new products, and in particular, Zombies, Run! You should have multiple years of experience creating high quality content that’s in conversation with existing properties and stories.

This is a fully-remote, full-time position. You can be located anywhere in the world, but must be able to overlap with at least 9am to 2pm UK time.

Our pay range is £32,000 to £40,000, dependent on experience and skill.

  • Are from a community that is historically under-represented in media industries
  • Have professional experience writing customer-facing copy
  • Have professional experience creating video content specifically for social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Have experience using industry-standard tools to create motion-graphics from existing art assets
  • Have professional experience using industry-standard tools to create original art or to adapt existing art
  • Have experience of community engagement with a vibrant, well-established group

What the job is going to be like

Primary Responsibilities

You will be joining our Production team, working alongside our Head of Production and Art Department to create innovative, fun, exciting content and engage our community.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating content for our Social Media channels, including idea generation, copywriting, and the creation and assembly of art and video assets
  • Tracking the performance of created content
  • Working with our CEO, Head of Production and other team members to devise a wider social media content strategy
  • Liaising with our with artists and the Production team on social media artwork, copy, and videos
  • Organising and promoting live online events (e.g. Instagram, YouTube, Twitch) with actors and staff
  • Maintaining a friendly, humorous and safe space for community members at all times
  • Scheduling content in Buffer
  • Managing competitions and giveaways
  • Sharing community content via retweets and Instagram stories
  • Responding to comments and DMs where appropriate

Additional Responsibilities

We believe there's always room to improve how we work, and the quality of the content we release. All members of the production team regularly:

  • Consult on our existing processes and how they can be improved
  • Take part in discussions about representation and equality in our content
