		<description>Some interesting ideas for SxSW talks there. I&#039;d particularly like to hear the outcome of the branding one (which I&#039;ve voted for!). Brands have a great opportunity to create a new dialogue with people through play, but at the moment, much of this appears to just be sticking ads into console games, which I&#039;m sure will leave a bitter taste in gamers&#039; mouths (unless it makes games cheaper to buy, of course). This seems cynical and unimaginative.

The only decent sponsorship I can think of was Dole Bananas in the absolutely brilliant Super Monkey Ball, but even then I don&#039;t know how much that benefitted the brand or the game manufacturer. Indeed, it felt quite quaint in a way, that a banana company sponsored a game in which you collect bananas. Made me laugh, though.</description>
